GizmoVR Lite is a free video player for iOS and Android that plays flat 2D, VR180 (180°), and 360° equirectangular media in monoscopic, side-by-side, and top-bottom stereo formats. Watch in standard touchscreen mode or immersive VR mode with a Google Cardboard headset.
What video formats are supported?
MP4 files with H.264 or H.265 video. Flat 2D, VR180, and full 360° equirectangular projections. Stereo modes: mono, side-by-side (SBS), and top-bottom (TB).
Is GizmoVR Lite free?
Yes — free on the App Store and Google Play with no in-app purchases required for core playback.
Does it work without a VR headset?
Yes. Swipe to look around in 360° videos in touchscreen mode. A Google Cardboard headset is optional for full VR immersion with gyroscope head-tracking.
Can I open videos from my website in GizmoVR Lite?
Yes. Use a
